22nd June Leather craft day

Shoot and Spice brought veterans and local residents together at Double Deuce Range for a day of shared experience, marksmanship, and conversation, ending with a warm, communal curry at Abdul’s Balti House. The event blended sport, food, and connection, creating a space where stories were exchanged, friendships formed, and the community strengthened.

Veterans embraced the art of leather craftsmanship through a subsidised bag‑making course delivered in partnership with Walsall Leather Skills Centre, Mental Fortitude, and expert maker Jo Heard. This hands‑on programme empowered participants with new skills, confidence, and a pathway into traditional leatherwork.
