Deadline extended: Applications now close 29 August 2025
Target group: New and early-career craftspeople facing financial hardship, especially British military veterans
Purpose: Support training in traditional and heritage crafts
Sponsors include major foundations such as National Lottery Heritage Fund, City & Guilds Foundation, Royal British Legion, and others
Context: These bursaries are part of Heritage Crafts’ broader effort to sustain and celebrate traditional craftsmanship
Note: Other bursaries closed on 27 June and will reopen in 2026
